I agree that my personal data, in association with the information I provide as part of this request, will be processed for individualized marketing and market research by, Opel Ireland, Gowan House, Naas Road, Walkinstown, D12 RCC4 and Opel Automobile GmbH, Bahnhofsplatz, 65423 Rüsselsheim am Main, Germany, as controllers.

My data will be processed and shared for the below listed purposes with the following recipients:

Identification & contact details (e.g. Name, email address, phone no.), and related information provided by you (e.g. as part of / in association with your requests)

Customer service: e.g. invitations to events, information about (technical) updates relating to my vehicle/a vehicle of interest or any vehicle services, notification of maintenance / inspection / servicing due dates, or breakdown assistance.
Customer information: Contact for e.g. communications for new and used vehicles, finance and leasing offers, dealer servicing, inspection and workshop offers, the end of a finance or leasing contract or quality improvement measures for my vehicle.
Advertising: Individual or personalised advertising of offers, products and services.
Customer satisfaction surveys: Contact after purchase / service, e.g. regarding satisfaction with my vehicle or the services provided.



Recipient(s)
Opel Automobile GmbH and Opel Ireland  share my personal data with the respective engaged processors for marketing / market research related IT services, administration and support.
Opel Automobile GmbH and Opel Ireland share your personal data with respective IT- Service provider MRM (Frankfurt am Main, Germany). There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission, but there are appropriate safeguards in place, which are in this case respective EU Standard Contractual Clauses (EU SCC’s). I agree that Opel Ireland and Opel Automobile GmbH will use my above-mentioned data to enable accurate identification to offer me the best services and experience and to avoid possible inconsistencies with regard to the named purposes. These parties use business rules in matching and merging processes to detect potential matches between two or more records, coming from different sources and systems (e.g. via online requests raised to Opel, participation in Opel marketing events, usage of myOpel) to achieve creating a unique customer master record.

 

 

My personal data will be stored for the above mentioned purposes for further three years after the last contact with Opel.



The data processing is based on my consent that I provide herewith (Art. 6 (1) (a) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). In addition, I agree that with respect to the data transfer to a country outside the EEA, the derogation according to Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR applies.
