Johnson and Perrott Opel Proudly Backs Midleton RFC

Johnson and Perrott, main Opel dealer in Cork, recently collaborated with Midleton RFC, generously providing a supply of rugby training balls to the club. This contribution, courtesy of Opel Ireland and its Drive the Passion programme, reflects Opel’s commitment to supporting local sports and actively engaging with the community. Opel’s goal is clear: to strengthen its bond with Irish rugby by actively supporting local rugby clubs at the grassroots level to empower the future stars of Irish rugby. Having successfully collaborated with several prominent clubs around Ireland already, Opel is continuing to extend its reach to even more clubs in 2024. 
Midleton RFC's players expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Johnson and Perrott Cork Opel’s generous gesture. Kathleen Denn, Captain of the Midelton RFC Senior Ladies team, conveyed their thanks, stating, "On behalf of Midleton RFC, we extend our gratitude to Johnson and Perrott Opel for their generous donation of rugby balls. This support is invaluable to our team, and the rugby balls will undoubtedly enhance our training sessions."
Speaking at the handover event, Jerry Crowley, Marketing Manager at Johnson and Perrott Opel, shared their enthusiasm, saying, "As a proud representative of Johnson and Perrott Opel, I am thrilled to have played a role in the rugby ball handover with Midleton RFC. This collaborative effort underscores our dealership's commitment to actively engage with the community and we look forward to strengthening our ties with Midleton RFC". 
Opel Ireland is delighted to advance its mission of donating Gilbert rugby balls to rugby clubs nationwide under its Drive the Passion programme. Having already supported clubs in Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny, Navan, Dungarvan, and Galway, Opel is gearing up to extend its reach to even more clubs in the coming months, aiming to strengthen the bond with Irish rugby and actively empower the future stars of Irish rugby by supporting local rugby clubs.
