Fitzpatrick's Opel Naas Supports Naas RFC U13s with New Gilbert Rugby Balls

Fitzpatrick’s Opel Naas, main Opel dealer, proudly partners with Opel's Drive the Passion Programme, reinforcing its commitment to rugby and community support. In a recent initiative, the dealership facilitated the donation of Gilbert rugby balls to the Naas RFC U13s, thanks to Opel Ireland’s Drive the Passion Programme. Opel, a proud supporter of Irish Rugby and the official car partner to the IRFU, is dedicated to empowering local clubs in Ireland by providing essential equipment that will significantly enhance the rugby scene across the country.

Shane Dewar, Sales Manager at Fitzpatrick’s Garage Naas, expresses his pride in supporting the club: “It’s a privilege for us to provide Opel Gilbert Rugby balls to the Naas RFC U13s. The enthusiasm and dedication of these young players are truly inspiring, and we are excited to see how these balls will help them develop their skills. We look forward to building more partnerships to support their journey and boost their success.”
This year, the Naas RFC U13s have had a notable season, securing the Winner’s title in the Leinster League Cup, and achieving Runners-Up status in both the Leinster Cup and the North Midlands League Cup. These accomplishments reflect the team’s hard work and exceptional performance throughout the year.
Coaches Aaron Downes, Darren McMahon, and Warrick Bowden at Naas RFC expressed their gratitude for Opel Ireland's generous gesture: "A big thank you to Fitzpatrick’s Garage Naas and Opel Ireland on behalf of our U13 team. We are delighted with the donation of rugby balls.  It's fantastic to see such support for youth sports, particularly rugby. We hope to see our players develop and achieve great things for their club and community. This support from Fitzpatrick’s and Opel Ireland is greatly appreciated."
